  • Re: Pie

This code should help you accomplish what you want. Notice that it uses two of the controls in the EssentialsMix - the Pie control and EvalBinding. < Grid Background = " Black " > < blendables : Pie x:Name = " Pie " Width = " 150 " Height = " 150 " Fill...

  • Binding TimelinePanel to collection

I am determining whether or not we should purchase the blendables tools, but first i need to make sure that the TimelinePanel meets our needs. The only thing that is holding us back is that i cannot figure out how to bind the dates on the calendar to a collection at runtime. At the moment all of the...

  • Re: Using .NET Client Framework

Hi Cormac, The Microsoft.Jscript assembly ships as part of the full .NET framework. There does not seem to be a smaller redistributable package that contains the Jscript assembly. Even if there was, we would not redistribute it with our products, but our customers could ship it as part of their apps...

  • EvalBinding Examples from Slow Train Software

It's always great to see our customers sharing tips and tricks on using blendables. • Re: Using .NET Client Framework

Apologies for the delay. We wanted to ensure we tested the proper scenarios before reporting back. Specifically we had to test deployment to Windows XP SP2 with no previous FX installed on the machine as pointed out in Fig 1 below (from windowsclient.net) There are only two of the controls that have...
  • Re: EvalBinding with nullable types

Hi cormac, You should be able to bind the IsChecked property to your IsPlaying property without any problem. Do you need a two-way binding? If so, you should use SimpleBinding, rather than EvalBinding. EvalBinding is used when you need to perform some sort of evaluation of the binding result. It can...

  • Expression Blend : Cannot create an instance of 'EvalBinding'

Hello, In MS Expression Blend 2.0 (December Preview), I've opened a window using blendables EvalBinding components. Each UI element that uses EvalBinding don't display properly, instead there's an error box containing "Cannot create an instance of 'EvalBinding'". Each of...

  • Re: Using \' in VS2008 kills Designer-View

Thanks! We may not be able to fix it in Blendables but we'll be sure to get the repro case over to the VS2008 team so that hopefully they can fix it by RTM. We'll keep this thread updated as we know more. Kurt
  • Using \' in VS2008 kills Designer-View

Hi, when i use a Evalbinding with a escaped quote, the WPF-designer stops working with the following errror in the errorlist: Error 2 Names and Values in a markup extension cannot contain quotes. ' [.Artikelnummer].ToString() + ' ' + [.Artikelbezeichung].ToString()}' markup extension...

  • There's Always Time for Pie!

If you like geeky simplicity, check out this XAML clock . It was built by one of our designers, Nathan Dunlap , using only the Pie shape and the EvalBinding markup extension. It was built using the just-released July CTP version of the Blendables™ Essentials Mix. If you’ve already installed the July...
